The Annual General Meeting of the Canada-Sri Lanka Business
Council was held on Saturday, April 28, 2012. Upali Obeyesekere
was re-elected president for a second term.

The board of directors of Canada-Sri Lanka Business Council participated in a
roundtable discussion with Canadian High Commissioner Bruce Levy in Toronto
on Friday, November 4, 2011.

The council welcomed a Sri Lanka Exporters' Delegation
that visited Toronto from October 25-29, 2011. A power
seminar was organized by the council on October 26th at
Ontario Trade & Investment Centre in downtown Toronto.
On October 27 morning, one-on-one meetings took place.
In the evening, the council hosted a dinner reception at
which occasion H.E. (Mrs.) Chitranganee Wagiswara, Sri
Lanka High Commissioner was Chief Guest.
