Kula Sellathurai

An active member of the local Sri Lankan Community, Kula was part of a delegation that visited Tsunami-devastated areas in Sri Lanka. He has also served on the executive of the Canadian Tamils’ Chamber of Commerce. An entrepreneur for 14 years, Kula is currently President and CEO of Inter-Citi Logistics Inc. and serves as a Board Member at Rouge Valley Health System Foundation.

Ganesan Sugumar

Chairman/CEO, Sugshe Group of Companies. Awarded Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal by the Government of Canada in 2002 in recognition of his generous services to the community. A leading Canadian businessman of Sri Lankan origin. Besides operating a lucrative retail trade network, he also owns and operates a Finance Company. Life Member of Canada-Sri Lanka Business Council.

Upali Obeyesekere

A Charter Member/Founding director of the Council, Upali owns and operates Ad-Bri Enterprises, a Consulting company dealing with Investment & Infrastructure Projects. He brings with him 17-years executive experience with IBM Canada Ltd., and over 25-years business experience in Canada. He had a 3-year stint as Canadian Representative for BOI, Sri Lanka and promotes leisure and business tourism among Canadians for Aitken Spence Travels, Sri Lanka.

Ranier De Lambert

An entrepreneur who has business interests in both Sri Lanka and Canada. Worked for the private sector in Sri Lanka and banking industry in Canada. A past-president of the Josephian-Peterite Alumni Association, he brings many years of community involvement and outreach work to the job. Currently employed in the mortgage and finance industry.
