An active member of the local Sri Lankan Community, Kula was part of a delegation that visited Tsunami-devastated areas in Sri Lanka. He has also served on the executive of the Canadian Tamils’ Chamber of Commerce. An entrepreneur for 14 years, Kula is currently President and CEO of Inter-Citi Logistics Inc. and serves as a Board Member at Rouge Valley Health System Foundation.

Ganesan Sugumar

Chairman/CEO, Sugshe Group of Companies. Awarded Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal by the Government of Canada in 2002 in recognition of his generous services to the community. A leading Canadian businessman of Sri Lankan origin. Besides operating a lucrative retail trade network, he also owns and operates a Finance Company. Producer of Sri Lanka community television program Voice of Lanka, Retired Banker with more than 35 years experience. Conducting free Sinhala classes for children who lives in Toronto in conjunction with the Toronto Board of Education. At present member of the Ethnic Press Council of Canada.
